• Vardon grip - Harry Vardon was one of the first golfers to use a grip in which the little finger of the bottom hand was curled around the fore-finger of the top hand.
• Vs - When a golfer looks down at his grip on the club, he sees two Vs, formed by the thumb and forefinger of each hand. A majority of good golfers have these Vs pointing towards the rear shoulder.
